Bible Verse Reading for 2nd April 2025 – Luke 15:24

Opening Prayer for April 2nd, 2025
🙏 Gracious Father, we come before You with hearts filled with thanksgiving. Thank You for this new day and the grace that sustains us. As we reflect on Luke 15:24, remind us of the depth of Your love and the joy of restoration. We pray for those who feel lost—may they find their way back to You. Help us to walk in the light of Your love, embracing Your mercy and extending it to others. Let this day be one of renewal, joy, and gratitude for the salvation You freely give. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Bible Verse – Luke 15:24 (NIV)
“For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. So they began to celebrate.”

Short Message
Luke 15:24 comes from the Parable of the Prodigal Son, a beautiful picture of God’s grace, forgiveness, and restoration. Just as the father welcomed his lost son with open arms, God rejoices when we turn back to Him. No matter how far we’ve strayed, His love never fails. Today, take heart—whether you need renewal, forgiveness, or a fresh start, God is ready to receive you with grace and joy. If you’ve been restored, celebrate His goodness and share His love with others!
